Alessandro Albanese gallery is a contemporary art gallery based in Milan and Matera since 2019.
The Milan gallery is located in the historic center of Milan, at the address Via Cosimo del Fante 14, inside a historic and elegant building. The second exhibition space is located in Matera, at the address Via XX Settembre 25, inside the “Caropreso palace”, a building of historical and cultural interest. Our objective is to focus and promote international emerging artists.
The gallery was founded by Alessandro Albanese, born into a family of gallerists, who founded their first gallery in 1986 in Matera city, a World Heritage Site and European Capital of Culture 2019. Alessandro grew up in the entourage of artists, gallerists, and art patrons.
